- A new sense of nutrition, health, and fitness. I am learning how to be a healthy person, not just be "a person on a diet."
- Confidence. As I'm able to stick to eating healthier, I am gaining confidence that I'm able to do this and possibly, just maybe, not fail.
- Hope. I am full of it ... hope, that is. I'm hopeful that we're able to build the buildings this summer that we want to complete. I'm hopeful that we're able to go visit family this summer or at the very least, this Christmas. I am hopeful that I find a full-time job.
- Goals. Yes, I am a goal-setter. I believe everything you want in life can be accomplished if you set the goal. Setting a goal helps keep me focused, so when something else comes along and I temporarily want to spend my money on it, I just remind myself of my goal and it's easy to say, "no thanks."
I'm sure 2009 will have many surprises in store for me, as well. All the other years have, that's for sure!
Happy New Year, Everybody!
